  • Tieks are great for travel!

I take mine on every trip, and here’s why:

    1. They fold in half and come with their own little pouch, so they barely take up space in my bag. Perfect for packing light or keeping in your purse as a backup to heels.
    2. Whether I’m exploring a city, going through airports, or walking museums all day, they’re surprisingly comfy. The cushioned insoles really help with all-day wear.
    3. They match everything—casual jeans, sundresses, even dressier outfits for dinner. I’ve worn them straight from sightseeing during the day to nice restaurants at night.
    4. Easy to slip on and off at security. Major bonus.

  • Stylish Flats That Go with Everything!

What I love most about my Tieks foldable flats is how effortlessly they match so many outfits. Whether I’m wearing jeans and a sweater, a business casual look, or even a dress for a night out, my ballet flats with the teal bottom always pull everything together.

The variety of colors makes it easy to find a pair that fits your personal style. I started with a neutral shade, but I’ve since added bold colors to my collection because they make even simple outfits pop! So, are Tieks worth the money? To me, absolutely! The versatility alone makes them a great investment, and the fact that they’re comfortable and stylish just seals the deal. If you’re looking for a go-to flat that works with anything in your closet, Tieks are it.

  • Are Tieks Good for High Arches?

As someone with high arches, finding comfortable flats has always been a struggle. Most ballet flats offer little to no arch support, which leaves my feet aching by the end of the day. I was hesitant to try Tieks ballet flats, but after wearing them for months, I can say they’re better than most, though not perfect for high arches.

While Tieks arch support isn’t as strong as a sneaker or orthopedic shoe, the cushioned insole does offer more comfort than most flats I’ve tried. The high-quality Italian leather shapes to my feet over time, which makes a big difference in fit and feel. I can wear them for a full workday without discomfort, but on extra busy days, I sometimes add a thin arch insert for extra support.

Not only do I have high arches, but I also have plantar fasciitis. If you also have this, I’d recommend breaking them in and seeing how they feel for you. The leather stretches and softens, making them more comfortable over time, but if you need strong arch support, you may need additional insoles.

  • Do Tieks Make Your Feet Sweat or Smell?

I’ve owned multiple pairs of Tieks, and one of the things I was initially worried about was whether they would make my feet sweat or smell after long hours of wear. After wearing them all day at work, while traveling, and even in warm weather, I can confidently say that Tieks don’t trap odor like other flats I’ve tried.

If you’re wondering, “Does Tieks use leather?” the answer is yes! While some leather flats smell over time, Tieks are made from high-quality leather which is naturally breathable. Unlike synthetic flats that tend to trap heat and moisture, the soft leather allows air to circulate, keeping my feet much cooler. I have pretty sweaty feet, but I’ve never had an issue with my Tieks getting overly damp or smelly.

While my Tieks have stayed fresh, I still take care of them to keep them looking and smelling great. Here’s what I do to keep them fresh:

    • I occasionally wipe the inside with a damp cloth and clear soap to remove any buildup.
    • For extra freshness, I sprinkle a little baking soda inside overnight to absorb any moisture. After a few hours, I dust it out.
    • Since Tieks use leather, I apply a leather conditioner to keep the exterior soft and prevent cracking.

One of the best things about Tieks is that they’re made to last. I’ve worn some of mine for years, and they still look and feel great. Plus, Tieks warranty and customer service are fantastic if you ever run into any issues with craftsmanship. They truly stand behind their shoes!

  • The Best Flats with the Most Color Options

One of the things I absolutely love about Tieks is the incredible variety of colors they offer. No matter your style, outfit, or mood, there’s a perfect shade waiting for you. I’ve owned multiple pairs over the years, and I still find myself eyeing new colors every time Tieks releases a new style! I think they offer over 60 different colors and prints so there is definitely something for everyone.

If you love a subtle bit of color, something like the Love Potion Tieks (a stunning limited edition that is the perfect mix of Lovestruck and Moonstruck) is a must-have. While Love Potion isn’t available anymore, they still have Lovestruck and Moonstruck for something similar. If you’re looking for a style that’s timeless and versatile, the Tieks Matte Black Ballet Flats are an essential staple in any wardrobe. And as someone who adores color, I find myself reaching for my vibrant Clover Green and Peach Poppy Tieks throughout the year.

If you’re wondering “Which Tieks flats are the best?” It really depends on your personal style. For everyday wear, I swear by my Matte Black Tieks because they go with everything. But for special occasions or a fun statement, I love switching it up with colors like Fuchsia or one of their shimmering metallics. Every pair I’ve owned has been just as beautiful in person as they look online!

  • Tieks vs. Rothy’s: Why Tieks Are the Better Option

As someone who loves stylish and comfortable flats, I’ve tried both Tieks shoes and Rothy’s, and while both have their pros and cons, Tieks are hands-down my favorite. After wearing both brands for a while, I’ve found that Tieks outshine Rothy’s in comfort, durability, and overall value.

One of the biggest differences in the Tieks vs. Rothy’s debate is the material. What material are Tieks made of? They’re crafted from high-quality Italian leather, which molds to your feet over time for a perfect fit. In contrast, Rothy’s are made from recycled plastic bottles, which is great for sustainability but I found the fabric to be stiff and not as forgiving on my feet. Tieks shoes feel soft and luxurious, while Rothy’s started to feel scratchy after extended wear.

Comfort is a huge factor for me, and while Rothy’s are lightweight, they lack the cushioning and arch support that Tieks shoes provide. I can wear my Tieks all day without any discomfort, whereas Rothy’s tend to feel flat and unsupportive after a few hours.

When it comes to Tieks sizing, they run true to size for most people but because they’re made of soft leather, they stretch slightly for a custom fit. Rothy’s, on the other hand, have a more rigid structure, and I found that finding the right size was tricky since they don’t stretch to accommodate foot shape.

I’ve owned multiple pairs of Tieks shoes, and they’ve lasted me for years without showing much wear. The leather actually looks better over time! My Rothy’s, however, started looking worn out pretty quickly, especially around the toe area. Plus, Rothy’s can’t be folded like Tieks, making them less convenient for travel.

If you’re torn between Tieks vs. Rothy’s, I’d say go for Tieks. They’re more comfortable, more durable, and feel like a luxury shoe rather than just another pair of flats. While Rothy’s are a decent option for casual wear, Tieks shoes are the better choice if you want a pair of flats that you can wear anywhere—from work to travel to special occasions—without sacrificing style or comfort.

  • Tieks Coupons

I’ve been a long time customer of Tieks so I know from personal experience that they literally NEVER go on sale or clearance. If you try to find a Tieks promo code, some of their previous campaigns will come up (like their generous offer for frontline heroes and teachers during the pandemic), but any promotion they run is typically for a niche group and they don’t do them often. The only Tieks discount I ever received was when they offered a military discount. Tieks are sold online only so I think that’s why they limit their discounting since they don’t have Tieks store fronts anywhere. I know cheaper sometimes sounds better, but I honestly do not recommend any of the Tieks knock offs. I’ve tried most of them over the years and they are nothing like the real deal. You won’t regret splurging Tieks.

  • Most Popular Tieks Styles

I’m a new Tieks customer and I’ve spent a lot of time researching “What are the most popular Tieks flats?” If I’m going to invest in a pair of high-quality shoes like Tieks, I want to find the best color that I can get the most use out of. Aside from the obvious choice of Matte Black Tieks, the next most popular colors seem to be either Taupe or Cardinal Red. I don’t know if my wardrobe is quite ready for red so I think I’m going to take the leap on the Taupe Tieks. I did check to see if there are any Tieks coupons out there but I couldn’t find one that worked. The only thing that seemed recent was their Tieks for Teachers promotion. I missed out on that but I love that they offered us teachers a discount!

  • Tieks Review: My Favorite Flats & Why They’re Worth It

I’ve tried so many flats over the years, but Tieks remain my absolute favorite. They’re stylish, incredibly comfortable, and one of the only flats I’ve found that fold easily without getting damaged—making them perfect for travel and everyday life.

One of the things I love most about Tieks is how they fold up so compactly. I love that I can pack them on trips and toss an extra pair in my bag so I can switch out of heels at events without worrying about them getting bent out of shape. The high-quality Italian leather is flexible but never creases permanently, which is something I haven’t found in other foldable flats.

When it comes to Tieks sizing for women, I found that they fit me true to size. Since they’re made of soft leather, they stretch slightly to mold to your feet over time. If you’re between sizes, I’d recommend checking Tieks customer service for help—they’re super responsive!

A lot of people ask the question that I asked myself before I bought a pair: “Why are Tieks so expensive?” They’re an investment, and after owning multiple pairs, I can confidently say they’re worth it. The craftsmanship, comfort, and durability make them a long-term purchase versus a cheaper pair of flats that fall apart in a few months. Plus, since they’re so versatile, I wear them way more than any other shoes I own. If you’re hoping to snag a pair on discount, unfortunately, Tieks don’t often go on sale. But honestly, they hold up so well that they’re worth paying full price.

  • Expensive, But I’m Obsessed

I’m a woman who loves a good designer shoe. I’ve worn most of the brands you can think of and honestly, they really aren’t that comfortable (even the most expensive ones). My Chanel flats KILL my feet. One of my girlfriends wore Tieks to brunch a few weeks back. They looked expensive and she told me that they are, but they’re absolutely worth it. When I saw they started at $185, I thought that wasn’t too bad but then saw they have pairs up to $300. I decided to take the plunge and buy a pair anyways and HOLY COW, are they comfortable. Plus, the quality is second to none. I will note that when I was googling the brand, I saw there are Tieks dupes out there but I would recommend getting yourself a pair of the real thing (or a few). They are 100% worth the investment.
